Application Areas:

Preparation of the Surface:
•Attention must be given that the application surface is cured.
•The application surface must be clear of materials which prevent bonding, such as dust, oil, and tar, paint, curing agents, silicone, detergents and mold release oils.
•Weak parts of the concrete must be removed; iron and wooden wedges must be demounted, active water leakages and cracks
 must be repaired.
•Sections that tend to crack such as sharp edges and horizontal/vertical joints have to be rounded by beveling.
Mixture:
Ready to use. It can be diluted with water at *0% rate when applied as first coat.
Application Information:
•AKRILAN **0 is applied with a brush or a roller. It should be diluted with *0% water on the first coat as a primer, then each layer should be **1,5 mm thickness.
•Dries in 4 - 5 hours, depending on weather conditions. Do not apply the second layer before previous coat is completely dry.
•Support it with carriers such as felt, mesh, against water pressure and on walkable roofs.
•AKRILAN **0 gains mechanical strength in 5 days and becomes waterproof in 7 days. It gains final strength in *4 days.
•It must be protected against damages.
Colorizing and Painting:
AKRILAN **0 is white, different colors are available upon request. It can be colored with paste type pigments during the application. It can be painted with acrylic based outer facade paint.
Consumption:
For 1 mm film thickness ..................1,4 kg/m2
Deck Roofs.................................. 3 - 4 kg/m2
Gutters.........................................  2 - 4 kg/m2
Caution:
•Avoid application in temperatures below *5°C and above **5°C.
•Avoid application on frozen areas, on areas under risk of freezing in *4 hours or on areas open to direct sunlight or wind.
•AKRILAN **0 is not suitable for water tanks, swimming pools and groundwork isolation that are under permanent water pressure.
•Avoid contact with surfaces such as metal, glass as it may cause permanent stains.
•Should not be applied on wet and moist surface.
•Keep the cover closed when product application is finished or paused.
Packaging:
5 kg and *5 kg plastic containers
Shelf Life
Unopened packages can be stored for *2 months. Mix well before use. Protect it against frost.
Health and Safety:
As with all chemical products, contact with food, skin, eyes and mouth should be avoided during usage and storing. If swallowed by accident, consult a doctor. In case of contact with skin, rinse with plenty of water. Keep out of reach of children.

Application Areas:

•Outdoor,

•On surfaces such as concrete, stone, corrugated plate, metal,

•As coating material on terraced roofs, eaves trough,

•Water isolation (except contact with drinking water),

•Protecting polyurethane foam applications from UV radiation.

Advantages:

•Applied perfectly on older coatings and all types of surfaces.

•It is single component and solventborne elastic material. It is easy-to-apply. It can cover capillary cracks.

•It can resist to sunlight because it is produced of resins that are not affected by UV. It is stable to depolimerization.

•Provides seamless and jointless water isolation.

•Very resistant to wearing, diluted acids, bases, salt, chemicals, mould and weather conditions. Can keep initial properties for years.

•Has high solid content ratio.

•Resistant to plant roots.

•Since it is permanently elastic, no cracking can be observed later on the surfaces applied. After curing, it can be walked on.

•Applied on single or double component polyurethane materials for protection.

Preparation of the Surface:

•The application surface must be clear of materials which prevents bonding, such as dust, oil, paint, silicone, curing agents and detergents.

•Bitumen, tarry and acrylic surfaces must be cleaned to ensure that there are no wastes remained.

•The surface has to be primed with POLAN A Polyurethane Floor Primer.

Application Information:

•POLAN **0 is ready to use. Do not add anything.

•Single component POLAN **0 Polyurethane Coating is applied on the surface with a brush, roller or a spraying gun. At least two coats must be applied. Between the applications of the coats there must be a waiting period of *2 hours.

•Gloves should be worn during the application.

•Final curing takes place in 7 days.

Consumption:

**0 - **0 gr/m2 on each coat (Varies depending on the surface absorbency.) At least two coats are applied.

Caution:

•Contains solvent and is flammable.

•POLAN **0 is not suitable for isolating potable water tanks, swimming pools. For such surfaces, use POLAN **0.

•Do not apply on surfaces with negative water pressure.

•Avoid application in temperatures below *5°C and over **0°C.

•Do not add water to the mixture. Thinning is not recommended. However, it can be thinned with maximum *0% with its special thinner if it is very necessary, do not exceed this amount. Do not use other thinners.

•For optimum results, wait at least *4 hours at **5°C prior to the application.

•The surface must be protected from water, rain, dew, frost and snow after the application.

Packaging:

3 kg and *5 kg tin cans

Shelf Life:

Unopened packages can be stored in a dry environment away from direct sunlight between **5°C and **5°C for *2 months.

Health and Safety:

As with all chemical products, contact with food, skin, eyes and mouth should be avoided during usage and storing. In case of contact with skin, rinse immediately with water, if swallowed by accident, consult a doctor. Do not approach with open flame and do not smoke during the application. Work only at areas that are ventilated adequately. Do not let the package lid open. Keep out of reach of children.
